Construction is now above grade for a 12-story mixed-use building known as Gild, rising at 1210 N State Parkway near the southwest corner of the Gold Coast. Newcastle Limited is the developer, whose plans include 18,000 square feet of ground-level retail and 89 apartments on the above floors. Residences will range in size from studios to two-bedrooms, with select units having access to private balconies or terraces. Amenities include but are not limited to two outdoor decks, a private club room, a fitness center, and a dog run.
